Originally from Houston and a proud graduate magna cum laude of the University of Houston with a degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education, I've lived and taught in several wonderful communities—from Meridian, Mississippi, to Atsugi, Japan. But it’s Whidbey Island that has captured my heart and become our family’s permanent home since 2014.
